Hi,
I am using AMOS to run SEM analyses on a model with one observed, exogenous variable (gender); the rest are latent constructs made up of 3 observed indicators each (which are actually parcels made up of groups of items from single measures). In using CFA to test my measurement model, I can't figure out how to include the observed gender variable. My advisor says that everything in the structural model has to be in the measurement model, but I don't know how to include a variable that is just observed. Any help would be fantastic! Thanks.
