I just need assistance in finding out which test best matches to apply on my data?as i want to do manova test.but i know how to do manova just for between user design but i dont know how to do manova in spss for within user.i tried to do it throught manova for repeated measure but i was stuck at first .Because it asks me to enter within user factor.and how many levels it has.
I am investigating the usability of a prototype menuA(pie) design by comparing it with a prototype menyB(linear). Both menuA and menuB is embedded in separate websites. 16 users were collected to the experiment with both menus in websites. 4 tasks were given to these participants to do on these websites. Time taken by the users to do these tasks and errors committed by users while doing these tasks were recorded. After experiment users were given post experiment questionnaire to fill out. Questions in both questionnaires were same. There were 13 questions in each questionnaire. Each question had a likert scale. Now i wan to make a huge big table encompassing the user performance for both menu designs keep it in mind that it is a within user design.as each participant did work on both websites. My independent varibles are time in task1 time in task 2 yime in task 3 time in task4 errors in task1 errors in task2 errors in task3 errors in task4 and each question in questionnaire is a dependent variable as well adding up all these i can say that i have 21 dependent variables. while menu is the independent variable having two levels pie menu and linear menu. i just want to know that which test is most appropriate to work out on my data. is it manova multivariant ?or if not that is it repeated measure manova? i just wan to get confirmation about m i using the right test? hypotheses is that prototype menuA is better than prototype menuB in term of time prototype menuA is similar toprototype menuB in term of time prototype menuA is similar in efficiency to prototype menuB in term of errors prototype menuA is similar to prototype menuB in terms of users satisfaction(satisfaction is recorded from 13 questions in questionnaire) prototype menuA is better than prototype menuB in terms of users satisfaction(satisfaction is recorded from 13 questions in questionnaire)
