Hey K.B.
I definitely don't think you are alone in your frustration. I try to use R, whenever I can for several reasons: 1) it is extremely powerful, 2) it is extremely flexible, 3) it works on any platform PC, mac or Linux, and 4) it is FREE!!!!
The main con is that it has a steap learning curve, but I think it is well worth it!
Here is a link to the CRAN website, where you can download R for FREE!
Hello!
I don't know if I'm alone on this one, I've been exceedingly frustrated with SPSS since it was purchased by IBM. It's so expensive, and to have to purchase a new license every year is a unreasonable, especially with the cost per license. I've invested quite a bit of time learning the ins and outs of SPSS, and want to be selective in the next program I choose to invest massive amounts of time in. I'd like to hear some thoughts on what would be a good program to transition to? Pros and cons of each?
Thanks!
K.B.
