Great question, newbiedoob. There are actually many different kinds of non-parametric "regression" analysis. To answer the question appropriately, we need a bit more information about your data. What is the nature of the distribution, if not normal?
Hi, I have the same question!
I have nonparametric data, primarily because my dependent variable is an ordinal scale - a Likert type scale for measures of Life Satisfaction. I want to see if there is an effect of education on life satisfaction, and whether the effect of education goes through the effect of occupation. Education here is also ordinal while occupation is nonimal. Can you help? (Please say yes)
I have data that’s not normally distributed. I want to do a regression analysis to test a moderator variable. Is there a non-parametric equivalent to do this in SPSS?
Thanks in advance for your help!
