Missing Data/Imputation Discussion > Ran the Multiple Imputations is SPSS, how can I now use this dataset in other software? (SmartPLS, *.csv)
Hello everybody :)
Please help me. So, I have the data imputed. Now I want to use the data set without missing values for analysis in SmartPLS, using a csv file.
If I just save the imputed data set in SPSS, it gives me a total number of cases = original number of cases * the number of imputations. Say, n=500*5=2500 cases in the imputed data set. This sounds wrong to me, I cannot use this data set for analysis.
Googling revealed an aggregate option - when I aggregate the means, there is a new data set with the mean values for each variable with a total number of cases equal to the number of imputed data sets. In case of 5 imputations, I have only five cases for each variables. This seems not right to me either.
So, please tell me how should I approach this. I simply want to use the imputed data set for further analysis NOT in SPSS (I know about the swirly icon in it). Thank you!
