Missing Data/Imputation Discussion > MI in SPSS 21-- Need pooled results for chi-square

Hi! I'm hoping you can help. I am working on my dissertation and all of my variables are categorical; chi-square/Fisher's exact tests are the way to go for me. I've run the MI in SPSS and did everything I think I'm supposed to do to run the analyses via cross tabs. Of course, the manual says that it only reports Naive pooling for cross tabs, which means I don't get pooled significance. I am NOT stats smart, so I need a really simple way of getting pooled results OR am I supposed to report all the various results from the various iterations?

Hi Jennifer!

Please see this thread that discusses obtaining pooled estimates:

The post and response to Chris may be especially helpful, in which I direct him to this website/article:

I know my post is 2 year after yours, but I am facing the same problem. SPSS wont compute the pooled estimate for chi square although it should. Could you please let me know how you solved your problem?

thanks
