Hi Maura!
First, thanks for your post! I'm afraid I don't have experience working with Wesvar, but you are welcome to post specific error messages and see if I (or someone else in the community) can help you troubleshoot. As a side note, if you need each of the imputed datasets to be separate when importing into Wesvar (I don't know if this is true, just speculating), then you can use the "split" function in SPSS and split by the _imputation variable. If they need to be in one dataset, then you can leave the data as it is.
Also, if Wesvar imports more easily from Excel (or csv file), then you can also export the SPSS data to those formats and then do an import from there. Just some ideas! I hope it helps!
Hello,
I am also a novice at SPSS. I am currently using SPSS 20 and attempting to use my MI dataset. While I am understanding how to run analyses in SPSS with the MI data, I need to export to the Wesvar program. I am using a national dataset and this program is suggested to account for variance and replicate weights. So, I am not sure if it is an exporting issue from SPSS or the way I am attempting to open the MI dataset in Wesvar that is the problem. Any suggestions?
Thank you!
